Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights Associate Opportunity
We are Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC ("CSG Law"), a nationally recognized regional law firm rooted in excellence, teamwork, and inclusion. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to bring on board an Associate to the Bankruptcy Department, creating opportunity for a new team member to work alongside colleagues engaged in a full spectrum of local and national bankruptcy matters.
The ideal candidate for this position would possess 2+ years of bankruptcy experience, with a focus on creditor representation, including representing stakeholders in Chapter 11 cases, such as secured and unsecured creditors, financial institutions and lenders, surety bond companies, commercial lessors, and creditors’ committees, as well as representing corporate debtors and trustees. Prior involvement should encompass general Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters, participating in pre-bankruptcy workouts, asset sales, plan negotiations, avoidance action litigation, and drafting commercial loan documents, including those related to asset-based transactions. Excellent client and communication skills, and admission to the NJ bar also required, additional admission to the NY bar a plus.
