CSG's Giantomasi and Schwartz Named to 2019 NJBIZ Power 100

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi (CSG) is proud to announce that Senior Member, Francis J. Giantomasi, and Managing Member, Daniel A. Schwartz, have been named to the 2019 NJBIZ Power 100 – a recognition of New Jersey’s most influential people in business.

According to NJBIZ, “Frank Giantomasi is and has been regarded as the go-to attorney for real estate matters in Newark for years. He’s redevelopment counsel for major projects there, including the 2 million square foot SJP development near the Broad Street station. His influence reaches beyond New Jersey’s biggest city, including as redevelopment counsel for the 140-acre site formerly occupied by the NJ Developmental Center in Totowa and a 152.9-acre portion of the MOTBY peninsula in Bayonne, which is currently being redeveloped into state-of-the-art industrial warehouse space.”

“[He] has been at the helm of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi since 2016, and has been a player at the firm since 1983. Schwartz is the driving force behind CSG’s stockpiling of former federal prosecutors, with Danielle Corcione and Erik Sandstedt coming on since this time last year. Firm revenue and attorney count grew 3 percent and 5 percent respectively over the last year, and in the last year, he’s overseen the development of immigration, alternative capital, and qualified opportunity zone groups,” added the publication with regard to Schwartz.

The 2019 NJBIZ Power 100 marks the second time Giantomasi and Schwartz have been recognized by the publication—with former listed alongside CSG Senior Member, Jeffrey S. Chiesa, in 2016, and the latter individually in 2018.
